I want to do this quilt but am easing my way back into quilting with two simpler projects before I start this one. Maybe a guilt-free Jan start. So your tips and links will come in handy when it's time.Nichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16299018618298513874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-972156795070220430.post-11358622605401405022011-07-12T06:59:01.839-07:002011-07-12T06:59:01.839-07:00Can't wait to get back to Dear Jane. I just appliqued the melons on a square background, and it does the trick.

LOVE your use of the K.Fasset fabrics. My initial plan was to use those, as well, BUT... as I'm using the rainbow Jane setting, I have to respect a specific color for each square, and I spent A LOT of time, wondering : "well, is this Kaffe fabric mainly blue? or green? or yellow???? (Giggle)
SO, I decided to turn on to jewel tones fabrics (marbled - or tone on tone printed).
Take care, and keep going my friend !
XOXOXOXOXOXOXO
NADINEAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
